A Visit to Marple - 17/07/2020

Visited Marple today and walked along the Marple Aqueduct. The aqueduct was designed by Benjamin Outram and was opened in 1800. It carries the Peak Forest Canal 100 ft above the River Goyt. The aqueduct is the tallest masonry-arch aqueduct in the UK. Also feed some ducks/geese as well.
